Promoter Gary Shaw updated FightNews that Chad Dawson’s right hand suffered a ligament injury and that the fighter will wear a soft cast for approximately two weeks. Mike Criscio – the manager of Dawson – is flying Tuesday evening to Vegas to assist Dawson. Dawson was working out Monday at the famous Johnny Tocco’s Boxing Gym when he suffered the injury, as reported by Butch Gottlieb with BoxingInLasVegas.com.
