de Mori returns Friday

Australian heavyweight Mark de Mori (18-1-2, 16 KOs) returns to action on Friday against American journeyman Troy “Country Boy” Weida (46-23-2, 33 KOs) over ten rounds at the St Marys Band Club, St Marys, NSW, Australia. The 6’2 de Mori is managed by Don King and is coming off a four round stoppage of Rob Calloway of the USA in March. Weida, 6’3, lost to Alex Leapai in 2011. Weida, 39 years of age, has been in action with several world class heavyweights including Ray Mercer, Orlin Norris and Brian Minto. In other action light heavyweight Kariz Kariuki (24-10-1, 19 KOs) will clash with Joel Bourke (14-22-2, 7 KOs) over six rounds. Also middleweight Kurt Bahram (10-3-1,4KO’s) will be in action against Mark Dalby (2-4,1KO) over six rounds. Promoter Daniel Sheridan and Brendon Bourke.
