Dec 19 Obregón card a hot ticket

There is a high demand for tickets for the December 19 boxing card at the new 5,500-seat Multipurpose Center in Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, featuring WBA bantamweight champion Nehomar Cermeno (18-0, 10 KOs) defending against Alejandro Valdez (21-3-3, 15 KOs) and WBC super featherweight champion Humberto “Zorrita” Soto (49-7-2, 32 KOs) facing former two-division champ Jesus “Matador” Chavez (44-6, 30 KOs). Both bouts will be televised in the United States on a split-site pay-per-view telecast headlined by the middleweight title fight between Kelly Pavlik and Miguel Espino from Youngstown, Ohio. Also seeing action in Obregón will be former lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo (60-9-1, 52 KOs) facing Saul Corral (26-6, 8 KOs), plus flyweight contender Hernan “Tyson” Marquez (26-0, 19 KOs).
