DeGale scores fourth round TKO over Bozic, Eubank, Galahad, Fury also triumph

WBC silver super middleweight champion James DeGale (16-1, 11 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over former world title challenger Stjepan Bozic (26-7, 17 KOs) on Saturday might at Glow/Bluewater in Greenhithe, Kent, England. DeGale was in command the entire fight and after taking a beating in round four, Bozic’s corner called it quits between rounds.

Unbeaten super middleweight Chris Eubank Jr. (10-0, 5 KOs) scored an eighth round TKO over Tyan Booth (11-10-2, 2 KOs). Eubank punished Booth over the second half prompting a referee’s stoppage. Eubank is the son of former world champion Chris Eubank. Time was 2:31.

Unbeaten featherweight Kid Galahad moved to 14-0, 7 KOs with a fifth round TKO over Isaac Nettey (21-9-1, 11 KOs). Galahad dropped Nettey in round four and again in round five. The fight was finally waved off by the referee after Galahad dished out more punishment. Time was 2:35.

Hot heavyweight prospect Hughie Fury (5-0, 4 KOs) made quick work of Ladislav Kovarik (10-15, 5 KOs). Kovarik was down twice before the carnage was halted at 1:37 of the first round. Hughie is a cousin to unbeaten heavyweight contender Tyson Fury.
