Del Gado returns Friday

Filipino 122 pounder Ariel “Machine Gun” Del Gado (18-5-2, 7 KOs) will be back in action on Friday when he will clash with Chen Manoprungrut over ten rounds at the Thonburi University in Bangkok, Thailand. Del Gado, who resides in Silay City, Occidentla, Philippines, lost to the world featherweight challenger Bernabe Conception by technical decision in five rounds in 2006 but stopped Japanese Zaragoza Uema in two rounds in 2010. Also in action will be PABA featherweight champion Muhammad Des Afrizal (8-4, 5 KOs) who will battle Thai Padjai “The Sniper” Yongyuthgym (6-0, 5 KOs) over twelve rounds.
Yongyuthgym scored a points decision over Junmar Dulog in his last ring appearance in Sydney, Australia. Afrizal holds a twelve round points win over tough Filipino Jack Asis in 2008.
In a flyweight contest over six rounds, classy Indonesian Vicky Tahumil (33-3-2, 12 KOs) will clash with Sukkasem Kietyongyuthgym (2-0, 1 KO). Tahumil lost to the current WBA flyweight champion Daike Kameda in 2007 but defeated world flyweight challenger Angky Angkota in 2002 over twelve rounds.
The promoter is Thailand based Australian Daniel Potter. The matchmaker is Scott Mailon. Televised throughout Thailand on Channel Seven Television Network.
