Grachev returns Aug 9, new trainer Chris Byrd

Light heavyweight Denis Grachev (13-3-1, 8 KOs) will look to get back on the winning track when he faces unbeaten Ryno Liebenberg (15-0, 11 KOs). The bout is scheduled for twelve rounds with the WBC International Silver light heavyweight title on the line. Site of the bout will be the Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, Gauteng, South Africa with Rodney Berman (Golden Gloves Promotions) promoting.

Grachev, who has lost his last two fights, is training at the well known City Boxing Gym in Downtown San Diego, California. He has brought in former heavyweight champion Chris Byrd to be his head trainer with Baruch Ferreira staying on as the assistant.
