The IBF welterweight clash between defending champ Devon Alexander and unbeaten Brit Kell Brook has been postponed, SKY Sports has reported, due to a bicep injury on the part of Alexander. Promoter Eddie Hearn, who looks after Brook, has gone on record as saying Golden Boy informed him of the news and that a new date will be found “ASAP.”
The fight was to have taken place on Feb. 23rd in Detroit, with Cornelius “K9″ Bundrage against Ishe Smith in an IBF 154-pound defense by K9. There is no word yet on whether or not this fight will also be postponed.
