Ex-world champion David Diaz and fellow Chicagoan and ex-champ Jesus Chavez officially announced their upcoming September 26 showdown on Friday night in Chicago. The two champs faced off for the press and Chavez stated “I loved David as my friend since we came up together in the amateurs in Chicago. But when we enter the ring it is strictly business.” The all-Chicago bout is one of most intriguing matchups in Windy City history.
