Amercian referee Raul Caiz Jr will be the third man in the ring when Panamanian Edwin Diaz (15-17, 5 KOs) and Mexican Jesus Silvestre (24-3, 18 KOs) dispute the vacant interim WBA miniumweight world title on Saturday night at The Palenque de la Feria, Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico. The three judges are Ruben Garcia (U.S.), Hernando Steidel (PR) and Raul Nieves (PR). The fight supervisor is Rodolfo Fortich (Colombia).
