Dib in action Saturday

IBF#4, WBA#12 Billy Dib (30-1, 18 KOs) returns to action in the ring against tough Filipino, Ricky Sismundo (18-5) in an eight round fight at the Italian club, Perth, Western Australia. Dib is chasing a shot at WBA champion Chris John and IBF champion Yurlorkis Gamboa. Dib is a former IBO 130 world champion but lost a WBO featherweight title opportunity to Steve Luevano in 2008. He has stopped his last six opponents and is confident Sismundo will be number seven. Sismundo took the WBC#1 jnr lightweight Terdsak Kokietgym twelve rounds in 2010. Also former WBO 154 pound challenger Daniel Dawson (35-3, 24 KOs) will clash with Filipino Arnel Tinampay (12-12-1, 4 KOs) over eight rounds. Dawson lost to WBO champion Serhiy Dzinziruk in ten rounds in 2010 but outscored American Jason LeHoullier in eight rounds in December. Classy middleweight Robbie Bryant (13-1-1, 7KOs) will challenge Togasilimai Letoa (11-6, 6KOs) for the vacant PABA title. Featherweight Paul Fleming (8-0, 5 KOs) will meet Joan de Guia (11-13-4, 3 KOs) over six rounds. Promoter Ty Colman
