IBF #10 heavyweight Alexander Dimitrenko (34-2, 21 KOs) wasn’t impressive in eight round unanimous decision over journeyman Ivica Perkovic (19-19, 14 KOs) on Saturday night at the CU Arena in Hamburg, Germany. A left hook by Perkovic caused Dimitrenko to touch both gloves was on the canvas for a knockdown in round five, but the 6’8 Ukrainian prevailed 77-74, 77-74, 78-73.
In other notable action, heavyweight Alexander Petkovic (46-4-4, 25 KOs) scored a second round TKO over previously unbeaten Memnun Hadzic (5-1, 0 KOs).
Jr middleweight Nico Salzmann (14-7-3, 3 KOs) won a ten round split decision over Ali Mammadov (10-2, 2 KOs) to claim the vacant WBC Baltic Silver light middleweight title.
