Dimitrenko eyes Euro belt!

Heavyweight Alexander “Sascha” Dimitrenko has been named as official challenger of European heavyweight champion Matt Skelton by the European Box Union. The unbeaten Dimitrenko (29-0, 19 KOs) is the next world title candidate of Universum Box-Promotion, rated in the top three by three of the four major world sanctioning organizations. However potential title fights against Vladimir Klitschko (IBF and WBO world champion) and Vitali Klitschko (WBC champion) are blocked by mandatory defenses in the near future forcing “Sascha” to be patient. A fight against Skelton (22-2, 19 KOs) is not yet scheduled at this time.
