Next Saturday at the o2 World Berlin, WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz will defend his title against Arthur Abraham. Last night after the final sparring session, trainer Dirk Dzemski offered the following assessment:
“The sparring phase went really well. Robert, as always, is physically fit and mentally very strong. Technically, he is at the highest level of his career. I was particularly impressed how focused he was during the sparring. We will see the best Robert Stieglitz of all time. Arthur is not the most difficult boxing package. While he has his strengths, he can be measured up well. We had plenty of time to prepare for Arthur Abraham and we took it. This fight has been on for a long time. Previously opponents have often pulled out shortly before fights. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen this time.”
