Donaire plans public workout!

Former IBF/IBO flyweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire, Jr., will open up his workout to media and fans at the Undisputed Boxing Gym in the Bay Area (883 East San Carlos Ave., San Carlos, Calif. 94070) this Saturday, July 11, beginning at 1PM PT. Donaire (21-1, 14 KOs), from San Leandro, Calif. by way of General Santos City, Philippines, is training for his upcoming challenge of former world champion Rafael “El Torito” Concepcion (13-3-1, 8 KOs) for the vacant WBA interim super flyweight title. The Donaire-Concepcion rumble headlines Top Rank’s August 15 “Pinoy Power 2” world championship pay-per-view extravaganza at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

“Pinoy Power 2” will also feature WBO featherweight champion Steven Luevano defending his title against #1 contender and mandatory challenger Bernabe Concepcion of Rizal, Philippines. Remaining tickets are priced at $200, $100, and $50, can be purchased at www.hardrockhotel.com, www.ticketmaster.com, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.

Pinoy Power 2” will be produced and distributed by Top Rank, Saturday, August 15, Live on Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, with a suggested retail price of $34.95. It will be available in HD-TV for those viewers who can receive HD.
