Dorado Reyes gets past Porky Medina

Super middleweight Marco “Dorado” Reyes (29-1, 22 KOs) won a hard fought twelve round majority decision over Rogelio “Porky” Medina (30-4, 24 KOs) in a battle for the WBC Fecombox title on Saturday night before nearly 10,000 at the Gimnasio Manuel Bernardo Aguirre at the Universidad Autónoma in Chihuahua, Mexico. Scores were 116-111, 116-112 and 114-114.

In other action, super featherweight Miguel “Mickey” Román (43-11, 32 KOs) needed just 42 seconds to demolish Carlos Urías (46-26-1, 35 KOs).

Also super bantamweight Edgar Monarrez (16-2, 10 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Ricardo Proaño (9-1, 7 KOs).
