Dover Downs Show Sold Out

Russell “Spiderman” Jordan (15-7, 10 KOs), of Rochester, NY will face Jose Angel Rodriguez (15-2-1, 2 KOs), of New York, NY in a twelve round bout for the vacant IBF North American middleweight belt this Friday night at the Rollins Center inside Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Delaware. The all-southpaw main event came about after original opponents Ahmad Kaddour and Terrance Cauthen fell out. “What we have are two warriors who will be looking to slug it out,” said matchmaker Nick Tiberi. “Both guys come to fight and both are worthy of this title shot.” This is the second straight event where the venue successfully promoted its own fight card. The eleven-bout card sold out several weeks ago.

“Rockin” Ryan Belasco (12-4-3, 3 KOs), of Wilmington, DE will face lefty Devarise Crayton (6-9-2, 2 KOs), of Ontario, FL in a six round junior welterweight bout.

“Mighty” Mike Tiberi (13-1, 6 KOs), of Smyrna, DE will meet Ray Cunningham (7-11, 5 KOs), of Topeka, KS in a six round middleweight contest.

Unbeaten heavyweight Amir Mansour (9-0, 6 KOs), of Wilmington, DE will face Samuel “Showtime” Brown (4-6-2), of Fort Campbell, KY in a four round bout.

Former Contender star Michael “No Joke” Stewart (45-7-2, 24 KOs), of New Castle, DE will face an opponent to be announced in a six round welterweight bout.

In a women’s match, popular Ronica Jeffrey (3-0, 1 KO), of Brooklyn, NY will face Ashleigh Curry (1-3-1), of Saint Joseph, KY in a four round super bantamweight match.

Heavy-handed Anthony “Caputo” Smith (5-0, 4 KOs), of Kennett Square, PA will face Joey Montgomery (2-7-1, 1 KO), of North Charleston, SC in a four round light heavyweight bout.

Mike “Strictly Business” Denby (2-5-3, 2 KOs), of Felton, DE takes on Gabriel Morris (2-7-1), of Toledo, OH in a four round welterweight bout.

Former Tough-man standout Dan “Bada Bing” Biddle (3-1, 3 KOs), of Hockessin, DE will test his bombs against Lonnie Mabin (1-5-1), of Saint Joseph, MO in a four round cruiserweight bout.

Gabriel Pham (3-0, 2 KOs), of Atlantic City, NJ will face Michael Glenn (2-0, 1 KO), of Hutchinson, KS in a four round light heavyweight bout.

Rounding out the big card will be “Joltin” Joey Tiberi (1-0, 1 KO), of Newark, DE taking on Francisco Portillo (0-4), of Dennison, OH in a four round featherweight bout.

Doors open: 6:30pm
First bout: 7:30pm
