Dr. Elias Cordoba Jr., two times president of WBA, passed away this Sunday morning at age 92 in the Hospital Nacional in his native Panama City, Panama. Dr. Cordova had been named years ago honorary President of WBA for a lifetime. His grandson Franklin Cordoba has been a member of the Panamanian Boxing Commission for 10 months.
