Turning Stone Resort Casino hosts a national HBO Boxing After Dark telecast for the second time in two months Saturday, October 27. The card includes a Main Event featuring the number one contender for Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s WBC Welterweight title, Thomas Dulorme, in his HBO debut. In the September 1 HBO Boxing After Dark Main Event at Turning Stone, Gennady Golovkin retained his WBA World Middleweight title with a fifth round TKO of challenger Grzegorz Proksa. The October 27 Main Event has Dulorme (16-0-0, 12 KOs) of Puerto Rico putting his number one WBC Welterweight contender ranking on the line against Luis Carlos Abregu (33-1-0, 27 KOs) of Argentina.
In a second nationally-televised fight, WBO NABO junior welterweight champion Karim Mayfield (16-0-1, 10 KOs) defends his title against Mauricio Herrera (18-2-0, 7 KOs). Also on the card is expected to be a clash between lightweights Argenis Mendez (20-2, 10 KOs) and unbeaten Armenian Art Hovhannisyan (15-0, 8 KOs). Promoters plan to announce the undercard at a later date.
