NABF cruiserweight champ Matt Godfrey (19-1, 10 KOs) outclassed previously unbeaten, but untested Shawn Hawk (18-1, 16 KOs) over ten rounds on Friday night at “The Arena” (formerly known as the New Alhambra) in South Philadelphia. Godfrey easily outboxed Hawk, coasting to an uninspiring 99-91, 97-93, 98-92 verdict.

In a notable light heavyweight bout, Chris Henry (24-2, 19 KOs) derailed the hot streak of Shaun George (18-3-2, 9 KOs) with a sixth round KO. George punished Henry early, but Henry turned the tables as the bout progressed flooring George twice in round six before referee Steve Smoger ended it. Time was 1:08.

Rising jr middleweight Derek “Pooh” Ennis (18-2-1, 12 KOs) took a one-sided six-round unanimous decision over John Mackey (11-4-2, 5 KOs). Ennis dropped Mackey in rounds two and six en route to a 58-54, 59-53, 59-53 win.
