Alvarez, Maddalone triumph

Welterweight Shamone “The Truth” Alvarez (21-2, 12 KOs) impressively knocked out Alexis Camacho (17-3, 16 KOs) in round seven on Saturday night at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Alvarez connected with his left hand all night breaking down the game Camacho. The end came in the seventh when Alvarez laid out Camacho with another crushing left hand. Time was 1:30.

Heavyweight fan favorite Vinny Maddalone (33-6, 24 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Dominique Alexander (19-8-1, 9 KOs). Maddalone dropped Alexander in round three, twice in round four and again in round five before the bout was waved off at 1:09 of the fifth.

Light heavyweight Chuck Mussachio (15-1-2, 5 KOs) won a six round unanimous decisio over Richard Dalphone (2-6-3, 2 KOs). Scores were 58-56, 58-56, 59-55.
