WBO #3/WBA #7 junior featherweight Antonio Escalante (19-2, 13 KOs) impressively knocked out Gary Stark Jr. (22-3, 8 KOs) in round three on Friday night at the UIC Pavilion, Chicago, Illinois. Escalante floored Stark twice in round three and the bout was waved off by referee Gerald Scott. Time was 1:31.

Red hot super middleweight Daniel Jacobs (15-0, 14 KOs) was impressive again as he crushed Jose Varela (22-6, 15 KOs) at 1:29 of round two. Varela went down in a heap and was counted out after absorbing a huge Jacobs right hand.

Olympic heavyweight bronze medalist Deontay Wilder (4-0, 4 KOs) annihilated journeyman Joseph Rabotte (3-6, 1 KO), scoring three knockdowns in round one. Time was 2:33.
