Unbeaten featherweight Derrick Wilson (5-0-1, 2 KOs) upset highly touted and previously unbeaten Charles Huerta (11-1, 6 KOs) via explosive first round KO on Thursday night at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The excitement started right away as Wilson and Huerta came out and immediately started trading shots. It ended after just 59 seconds when Wilson landed a left hook that dropped Huerta for the count.
In an off-TV super middleweight clash WBC #10 middleweight Enrique Ornelas (29-5, 19 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over Roberto Baro (12-7, 9 KOs). The bout was waved off after Ornelas dropped Baro with a body shot. Time was 1:01.

Unbeaten lightweight prospect Luis Ramos Jr. (12-0, 7 KOs) won a hard fought sixth round KO against veteran Sandro Marcos (29-20-2, 24 KOs). Ramos dropped Marcos twice in round one, but Marcos fought bravely until he was dropped again in round six. Referee Jerry Cantu waved it off at :59.
Unbeaten junior welterweight Carlos Molina (8-0, 3 KOs) stopped Eber Luis Perez (9-13-1, 7 KOs) at 2:39 of round four of a scheduled four-rounder.
Heavyweight Herman Binek (8-1, 6 KOs) outpointed Yohan Banks (2-3-2, 1 KO) over four. Scores were 39-37 on all cards.
Unbeaten featherweight Ricky Lopez (5-0, 2 KOs) outpointed pro-debuter Eder Peralta over four 39-37 on all cards.
