Undefeated, world-ranked super middleweight Andre Ward (18-0, 12 KOs) took a one-sided unanimous decision over Henry “Sugar Poo’’ Buchanan (17-3, 12 KOs) on Friday night at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino at Lemoore, Calif. Ward was in command from the get-go, outpunching and outworking Buchanan for the full twelve rounds. Scores were 120-108 on all cards. Ward is the only boxer from the United States to capture a gold medal at the Olympic Games since 1996.

Unbeaten jr lightweight John “John” Molina (15-0, 11 KOs) kept his unbeaten record intact with an impressive third round KO over hard-hitting Joshua Allotey (15-7, 13 KOs). A brutal body attack put Allotey down for the count at 1:28 of round three.

Heavyweight prospect Manuel Quezada (26-4, 16KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Eric Boose (14-3-1, 8 KOs). Time was :10.

In a rematch, former cruiserweight champion “King” Arthur Williams (46-15-1, 30 KOs) won a majority decison over Dewey Cooper (17-3-3, 10 KOs). Scores were 95-95, 96-94, 98-92 for Williams, who won a technical decision in their first bout.
