Green outpoints Simms

WBC #6 super middleweight Allan Green (29-1, 20 KOs) won a hard fought ten round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten late sub Tarvis Simms (25-1-1 11 KOs) on Saturday night at the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Oklahoma. The fight was tactical and not easy for the hometown hero Green, who won by scores of 98-92, 99-91, 97-93.
In a good fight, welterweight Antwone Smith (17-1-1, 9 KOs) scored an impressive ninth round TKO over previously unbeaten Henry Crawford (22-1-1, 9 KOs). Crawford started well, but Smith eventually broke him down, dropping Crawford in the ninth. Crawford didn’t come out for round ten.
Unbeaten super middleweight Marcus “Too Much” Johnson (18-0, 14 KOs) took a one-sided eight round unanimous decision over tough Victor Villereal (8-4-2, 4 KOs). Johnson dropped Villereal in round six, and won every round 80-71 on all cards.
