Undefeated featherweight Orlando Cruz (16-0-1, 7 KOs) scored an explosive one-punch fifth round knockout of world rated previously unbeaten KO artist Leonilo Miranda (24-1, 23 KOs) on Friday night at the Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The favored Miranda pressed the action early and showed great power during a huge round three. Southpaw Cruz, however, weathered that storm and two rounds later he ended the fight with a punishing straight left hand that leveled Miranda for the count. Time was :39. Miranda is rated #5 by the WBA and #8 by the WBC.

In a brutal and highly entertaining fight, lightweight Marvin Quintero (15-1, 12 KOs) outslugged Nick Casal (18-4-1, 14 KOs) during three violent rounds. Casal opted to stay on his stool after round three. Very impressive performance by Quintero.

2008 United States Olympian Gary Russell, Jr. successfully made his pro debut with a third round TKO over Antonio Reyes (3-3) in a 126-pound match. Russell looked good as he dropped Reyes in round two, and referee Steve Smogar stopped the fight 21 seconds into round three.
