Former season two “The Contender” champion Grady Brewer (26-11, 15 KOs) made an early night of it when he destroyed the previously undefeated Albert Onolunose (18-1, 7 KOs) with a second round KO to capture the vacant IBC jr. middleweight title.

San Diegan KJ Noons (11-2, 6KO) had trouble looking good for the hometown crowd against Randy Pogue (8-9-2, 2KO). Noons tried to make a fight out if it but Pogue was not having it as he was content in throwing a couple of punches and then holding until separated. Scores were 60-54 twice and 59-55.

Vietnam by way of Vero Beach’s Dat “Be Dat” Nguyen won a close six round featherweight division over the skilled Noe Lopez with scores of 58-53 times.

San Gabriel, CA bantamweight Leo Santa Cruz (9-0-1, 2 KOs) survived a fourth round knockdown to win a questionable unanimous decision over the game Robert DaLuz (12-20-3, 9 KOs) over six rounds. Scores were 58-55.

After being dropped in the first and cut over both eyes, Dmitry Chudinov (2-0, 1KO) older brother to Fedor, earned a four round middleweight unanimous decision over Eddie Hunter (1-1) with a workman like body attack. Official scores were 38-37 three times.

Fedor Chudinov (2-0, 2 KO) stopped an overmatched Mikhail Lyubarsky (3-11-1, 1KO) at 1:11 of the first round with a straight right followed with a left hook in a super middleweight bout.
