Former two-time lightweight champion Julio Diaz (37-6, 26 KOs) showed he still has it by winning a ten round unanimous decision over Herman Ngoudjo (18-4, 10 KOs) in a junior welterweight bout on Friday night at the Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, NV. Scores were 97-93, 97-93 and 99-91. Having lost his last two fights, against Victor Cayo (7-31-2009) and Rolando Reyes (4-4-2009), Julio Diaz is seeking redemption in 2010 and beating a recognized name like Ngoudjo is a good start.
