Imam, Diaz blow away foes in one

Unbeaten jr welterweight Amir “Young Master” Imam (12-0, 11 KOs) needed just 52 seconds to destroy Sergio “Sirenito” Perez (28-16, 19 KOs) in a bout for the vacant NABA belt on Friday night at Resorts World Casino NYC in Queens, New York. A body shot put Perez down for the count.

In a lightweight bout, unbeaten Joel Diaz, Jr. (14-0, 12 KOs) scored a first round annihilation of Tony “Sugar Boy” Walker 5-4-1, 3 KOs). Diaz dropped Walker then moments later laid him out. Time was 2:27.

In other action on the 50 Cent/SMS Promotions card, lightweight Ryan “Blue-Chip” Martin (2-0, 2 KOs) scored a devastating first round KO over Eric Jamar Goodall (1-3, 0 KOs). After a big right it good night. Time was 1:22.

Unbeaten welterweight Emmanuel “Pirata” De Jesus (9-0, 6 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over Antonio Fernandez (4-14-2, 0 KOs). The bout was waved off after De Jesus dropped Fernandez. Time was 2:54.

Unbeaten bantamweight Nate Green (5-0, 1 KO) scored a six round unanimous decision over Thomas “KO” Snow (16-2, 10 KOs). Snow dropped Green immediately, but Green came back to drop Snow in rounds four and six. Scores were 57-54 on all cards.

Lightweight prospect Donte Strayhorn (4-1, 1 KO) scored his first early stoppage, getting Sam Moura (0-3) out of there at 1:34 of round four.
