Cherry destroys Herrera

Lightweight contender Edner Cherry (26-6-2, 14 KOs) needed just 1:49 to impressively annihilate Hevinson Herrera (14-5-1, 4 KOs) in round one on Friday night at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida. Cherry immediately attacked Herrera, who had no answer for Cherry’s vicious barrage of punches.

Heavyweight Lenroy Thomas (15-1, 8 KOs) won an unpopular six round majority decision over aggressor Homero Fonseca (8-3-2, 2 KOs). Scores were 58-56, 58-56 and 57-57.
Super middleweight Ibahiem King (7-1, 2 KOs) pounded out a six round unanimous decision over Ahsandi Gibbs (10-2, 4 KOs). Scores were 59-55 on all three cards.
Female featherweight Jenna Shiver (10-4-1, 2 KOs) shut out Caitlin Dance (2-7) by 60-54 scores across the board.
