Former world champion Edgar Sosa says he hopes to defend his WBC flyweight silver title in May against an opponent to be determined. “If caught my attention that it was announced that on April 20 in Panama Luis “El Nica” Concepcion faces Colombian Anuar Salas for the vacant WBC flyweight silver title. I have not vacated my silver crown, rather I want to defend it in May. Now I want to return to train, as I feel very motivated. Still don’t know who I’ll fight in May but I would like a good opponent, even a name like Giovanni Segura. I’m near a world title fight and I want to get at my best,” said Sosa, who is awaiting the opportunity to face the winner between Toshiyuki Igarashi and Akira Yaegashi for the WBC championship.
