Former world rated 130 pounder Ahmed Elomar (17-1-2, 10 KOs) returned to ring action after eighteen months out of the ring and scored a fifth round knockout over Filipino Abner Llanasa (3-10) at Adeel’s Palace Reception Center, Punchbowl, Sydney, NSW, Australia Friday. Elomar’s last ring appearance was in November 2008 when he scored a 1st round knockout over then world rated William Kickett. Former amateur champion – Elomar captured the Australian 130 pound title in 2005 when he won a nine round technical decision over Daniel Hoskins. On the undercard, hot lightweight prospect Paul Fleming (6-0, 5 KOs) outscored Michael Corea (2-1-1,1KO) of the Philippines over six rounds. Promoter Billy Hussein.
