Ex-champ Simms tasered, arrested

Former WBA super welterweight champion Travis Simms was tasered and arrested by police Sunday night in Norwalk, Connecticut, at what was called an “out of control party.” According to the Stamford Advocate, the 41-year-old Simms was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer. Simms is due to be inducted into the Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame on November 10.
