Fana new IBF champion

Mzonke Fana (30-4, 12 KOs) took a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Cassius Baloyi (37-5-1, 19 KOs) to win the vacant IBF junior lightweight title on Wednesday night at Carnival City in Brakpan, South Africa. Scores were 119-109, 118-110 and 119-110. Baloyi had beaten Fana for the same belt in April 2008. (More to come from Ron Jackson)
