Current Australian super welterweight champion Tyrone Tongia will put off his training for a week or, as he’ll board a plane from Brisbane, Australia next Monday, and head to Southern California to join nearly 20 other “future promoters” at the 8th session of Fight Promoter University, June 5-8.
Tongia, 29, sports a solid 18-2 pro boxing record including nine knockouts, isn’t finished with his career in the ring just yet, but he wants to prepare himself for this next career outside the ring, so he feels his investment in attending FPU will pay off nicely.
