First ESPN2 boxing telecast since August airs Friday

WBC/WBA #9 super middleweight contender “Dangerous” Dyah Ali Davis (20-2-1, 9 KOs), son of 1976 U.S. Olympic Gold medalist Howard Davis, will headline the first ESPN Friday Night Fight broadcast of 2012 against Alfonso “The Tiger” Lopez (22-1, 17 KOs) this Friday night outdoors at Mallory Square in Key West, Florida. Blow-by-blow commentator Joe Tessitore and ringside analyst Teddy Atlas will return to the January-August series and once again ESPN’s ultra slo-mo camera will be used on select cards. A total of 30 dates are planned for 2012.
