Fontanez-Nater heats up

Hard-hitting undefeated Jeffrey “Baby” Dynamite” Fontanez (8-0, 7 KOs) made it clear that despite being only 20 years of age, he’s is ready to face the great challenges in the lightweight division. Fontanez will clash this Saturday against John Nater. “I have trained very strong for this fight. We have implemented a plan that we know we’re going to work perfectly to obtain the victory. Nater says that I haven’t had the right opponents to build up my record. Just want to let him know that he lives in wonderland when he talks about boxing, I have more than 100 amateurs fights and on Saturday night I will turn off his lights,” Fontanez stated.

While his opponent John Nater almost bends in many fights to “Baby Dynamite” with 14 pro fights and an extensive background as amateur fighter “I’m ready for Jeffrey, he thinks I’m like the other opponents he has faced, but this time he is in trouble he has no experience to face me,” said Nater.

In the eight round featherweight co-feature, it will be undefeated and former member of the Puerto Rico national team in the Central American Games 2010, Braulio Santos (7-0, 6 KOs) against Colombian veteran John Alberto Molina (32-20-3, 20 KOs). “I am excited about this fight to be the co-main event. I fight a guy with a great experience, but I trust my training and I’m totally ready for these challenges. I know that after this fight will come great things for my career,” Santos stated.

“This Saturday, October 13 in Juncos we’ll have another great event with 11 fights full of action. Every fight has been very well matched and we hope will please fans. The stellar fights are very attractive; Jeffrey has a big challenge in John Nater. And Braulio Santos’ bout against John Alberto Molina will be action from the first bell,” said businessman and promoter Hector Soto.

Fontanez vs. Nater, is an eight round bout at lightweight division and is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, Miguel Cotto Promotions together with H2 Entertainment and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate. Doors open at 6:00 pm with the first bout beginning at 7:00 pm The TeleFutura broadcast begins at 9:00 pm.
