Fontanez, Santos demolish foes

With impressive wins by way of knockout, top Puerto Ricans prospects Jeffrey “Baby Dynamite” Fontanez and Braulio Santos demolished their rivals to keep their perfect records intact. In the main event, the heavy puncher from Caguas, Puerto Rico, Jeffrey “Baby Dynamite” Fontanez demolished John Nater with an explosive left hook to the body in round four. “This is a great victory for me, I trained very hard. I knew I was going to knock him out. I walked calmly to make my fight round by round until he felt my hands,” said Fontánez. Making honor to his nickname “The Baby Dynamite” improves his record to 9 wins no defeats with 8 wins by knockout.

Also undefeated Braulio Santos graduated with honors scoring a TKO win over veteran John A. Molina at 1:05 of the second round. “I felt strong, I came to do my job and we got the win. He is a veteran but when I saw the opportunity to place my hands well I knew I could finish the fight early. Thank God it’s a big win for me,” Santos remember who improves to 8 wins, no defeats with 7 wins by knockout.

In other results Roberto Acevedo won a unanimous decision over Gabriel Diaz in a 6 round bout. While Jose Santiago stopped Jesus Gonzalez in the second round and Jonathan Kuilan improved to 2-0, 2KOs when he stop Victor Montes with a TKO on round 1. Miguel Rafael Tapia won a unanimous decision over Jose Ruiz with identicals judges cards of 39-37. Jose “Wonder Boy” López won by KO in round 1, Daquan Arnett win a unanimous decision over Dashon Johnson while Fauris Capellan anihilates Irvin Hernandez in round one also Alberto Mercado and Josue Declet had unanimous decision victories.

Miguel Cotto Promotions and H2 Entertainment will return on October 20 with their show ON FIRE: Boxeo Boricua in Caguas form the Roger Mendoza Coliseum which headlines the unbeaten Jonathan “Pitbull” Vidal vs. Josean Figueroa for the vacant bantamweight FECARBOX title and co-feature Janiel Rivera vs. Omar “Pastor” Soto for the vacant strawweight FECARBOX title.
