Former IBF super featherweight champion and Contender finalist Steve Forbes (34-7, 10 KOs) got back into the win column with a second round KO over Jason Davis (11-3-1, 3 KOs) on Friday night at the Spirit Mountain Casino in Grand Ronde, Oregon in a scheduled ten-round welterweight clash. Forbes, rebounding from consecutive decision losses to Oscar De La Hoya and Andre Berto in 2008, trapped Davis in a corner and leveled him with a barrage of punches at the 2:45 mark.
