Foreman III foe wants grill

When you are the son of a living legend, you are 6’4” and 250 pounds, and you are undefeated at 2-0, it isn’t always the easiest for a promoter to find an opponent. But when Southern California promoter Roy Englebrecht went looking for an opponent for George Foreman III on his September 10th pro boxing show at San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino in Highland, California, he was floored by what an opponent wanted to take the fight. “When I approached Chico’s 0-1 Jesus Hernandez about taking the four round heavyweight bout, Hernandez agreed to the purse amount, said Englebrecht. “But then he told me that the only way he would sign the bout contract would be if I also threw in a new George Foreman Grill and an autographed photo of the former heavyweight champion. So I got on the phone with the Foreman camp and at the Weigh In on September 9th I will happily present Hernandez with a brand new Foreman Grill, and even better the grill will be autographed by George!”

Also set for the Thursday, September 10th seven bout show will be a top female jr lightweight match up between Rhonda Luna and Gloria Ramirez, with the San Manuel Belt going to the winner. Plus two undefeated heavyweights 3-0 Scott Alexander and 2-0 Lionel Davis will see four round action. Tickets for the 7:30pm show are on sale at the Casino or Ticketmaster.
