Former WBC exec Salud passes

Former WBC Executive Secretary Rodrigo Salud has sadly passed away at the age of 72 after complications from surgery. Salud was one of the founding members of the WBC in the 60s, when the President was Justiniano Montano. Current WBC president Jose Sulaiman was the successor of Salud. The organization has declared three days of mourning in the boxing world. In addition to working in boxing, Salud headed the Philippine Basketball Association. Fightnews.com sends its condolences.
