Unbeaten super bantamweight Michael ‘Lil’ Warrior Franco of Riverside (15-0, 10 KOs) claimed his first pro title with a crowd pleasing fourth round TKO over Juan Jose Beltran (19-13-3, 11 KOs) on Saturday night at the American Sports University in San Bernandino, California. Beltran could not figure out Franco’s strategy as Franco alternated between punching to the body and head in all rounds. Referee Tony Crebs waved it off at :38 of the fourth, crowning Franco as WBC youth super bantamweight titleholder.

Also, in an upset, light heavyweight Terrance Smith (6-10-2) stunned previously unbeaten Kerry Foley (11-1, 9 KOs) via six round unanimous decision. It was Foley’s US debut.

2006 National Golden Gloves champion bantamweight Efrain Esquivas (5-0) defeated Miguel Reza (3-5-1) by TKO at the end of five rounds. The bout was halted in Reza’s corner due to a cut over
the fighter’s left eye.

Light heavyweight Anatoly Dudchonka (5-2) won by TKO at 2:12 of the second round over William Harmon (7-7).

Flyweight Vacho Avagyan (2-0) won a four round unanimous decision over Jaime Gutierrez (3-3)

Featherweight Jesus Adame and Frankie Gutierrez fought to a four round majority draw

Super bantamweight Khabir Suelymanoz beat Joey Silva by six round split decision.
