According to manager and promoter Steve Mestas, ‘Red Hot’ Rob Frankel (32-12-1, 6KOs) will be fighting Paul Spadafora (47-0-1, 19KOs) on April 6th in West Virginia. Frankel is coming off a decision win over Jermain White while Spadafora last fought Solomon Egberime.

Mestas also announced that Manny ‘Manos’ Perez (19-8-1, 4KOs) will be fighting Pablo Cesar Cano (25-2-1, 19KOs) on March 16th in Cancun, Mexico. Perez lost a WBA title bid against Paul McCloskey in Ireland in September of last year. Cano last fought in October dropping a close and disputed decision to Paulie Malignaggi in a fight many believed Cano won.

    Help Support®

For 18 years,® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
