Franklin ‘Aces’ Silva at UFC 147

In a long-awaited rematch, Rich Franklin outpointed Wanderlei Silva in the main event of the UFC 147 fight card held tonight at the Felipe Drummond Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Both men came out swinging, but Franklin got the better of the exchanges in the first. Silva finished the second round by nearly taking out Franklin, but the former champ survived the assault to outpoint Silva in the last three rounds. All three judges gave Franklin the decision, 49-46.
