Delvin Rodriguez (24-2-2, 14 KOs) overcame injury and an early deficit to win a unanimous decision over Shamone Alvarez (20-2, 11 KOs) Friday night at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville , Connecticut . Rodriguez, fighting in front of his hometown crowd, had all types of problems early on with Alvarez’s southpaw attack. It was a combination of the knockdown he scored in the eleventh and his ability to stay on his own two feet in round twelve that sealed the victory for Rodriguez by scores of 115-112, 114-113, and 114-113. Undefeated welterweight Raymond Serrano improved to (9-0, 5 KOs) with an entertaining six round decision over Jay Krupp (12-2, 5 KOs ). Scores of the bout were 60-53 twice and 58-55. ***Click here for the entire action-packed photo gallery***
