Up and coming lightweight prospect “The One” Rashad Ganaway (9-0 ,7 KOs) stayed on course when he extended his unbeaten streak with a TKO win over Michael Williams (5-8, 3 KOs) at 2:48 of the first round tonight at the West Junior High School Gymnasium in West Memphis, Arkansas. Williams visited the canvas three times in the first round and the referee stopped the carnage due to the three-knockdown rule, which was in effect. With the victory Ganaway is on schedule to fight Jaime “Super-Fly” Sandoval (15-3, 12 KOs) for the NABC lightweight title on March 28th in the Rio Grande Valley, south Texas’ hot bed of boxing which is promoted by Peacemaker Promotions.
