Garay-Valdez not WBA-sanctioned

It was announced in the Mexican press Rodolfo Garay (27-18-1, 18 KOs) and Luis Valdez (14-5-1, 7 KOs) will be fighting for the WBA Contiental Americas bantamweight title on July 16 in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. The WBA Board, however, has not sanctioned that fight and wants to clarify that the regional belt will not be in play for that fight.
