Unbeaten British welterweight beltholder Frankie Gavin (15-0, 11 KOs) scored a seventh round TKO over Jason Welborn (11-2, 5 KOs) on Friday night at Walsall Town Hall in Walsall, England. The classy former amateur star Gavin punished Welborn and finally floored him in the seventh. Gavin then poured it on until referee Ian John-Lewis waved it off at 2:35.
