Swede amateur standout Donatella “DynOmite!” Hultin, now fighting out of Las Vegas under the Infinity Boxing banner, is set to make her pro debut May 9 on the Chad Dawson-Antonio Tarver II card at the Palms.
“We have a potential world champion here,” says Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, who trains Hultin at Johnny Tocco’s Gym. “She’s even at the gym before me-that shows you she wants to learn the game.” Born and raised in Sweden, Hultin began boxing at 13. While Vic Darchinyan was training in Vegas, Hultin was able to go a few rounds with the champ. The sparring was filmed for a promotional trailer. The angle was this: “Darchinyan is so ready for Arce, he’s sparring with a girl.”
