Former WBA/WBO light flyweight world champion Giovani Segura has reached an agreement on a promotional contract with Promociones del Pueblo. “The truth is that I am very happy, I am eager to return to try to regain the championship. I’m very excited about signing this contract. I think I can go far and I hope that together we can succeed. Very soon, God willing, we’ll have a world title belt and will be on the way to reciprocate the trust they have given me. I’m sure I’m not going to fail,” said Segura, who will return in November on a Televisa telecast.
