A cruiserweight world title clash has been added to the February 1 “Monte Carlo Night of Champions” event headlined by Gennady “GGG” Golovkin defending his WBA/IBO middleweight world titles against Osumanu Adama. South African-based knockout artist Ilunga “Junior” Makubu (15-1, 14 KOs) and undefeated Polish contender Pawel “Hamas” Kolodziej (33-0, 18 KOs) will battle for a vacant interim cruiserweight belt it was announced today by Rodney Berman, President of African promotional giant, Golden Gloves of South Africa. Another title fight on the undercard will see former IBF minimumweight champion Nkosinathi Joyi (24-2, 17 KOs) contest the vacant IBO light-flyweight title against Rey Loreto (17-13, 9 KOs) of the Philippines.
Detailed ticket information for “Monte Carlo Night of Champions” at the beautiful Salle des Etoiles venue will be announced shortly.
